Jess Jocelyn

Jess Nyanda Moyle of Jocelyn's Baby is a truly inspirational, talented and passionate Perth based recording artist. Originally from Hong Kong, Jess was raised in the North of Perth WA, which is often regarded as the most isolated city in the world... Jess’ music is anything but isolating as her original yet ever evolving sound tells tales of home, identity and healing. Jess’ captivating lyric driven soundscapes connect people and communities in what is deemed a city of isolation but is in fact a city of unison made possible through the power music its humble creators. 

 

Jess gained lifelong knowledge and skills through her experience studying theatre after missing out on an opportunity to perform in a live regional theatre show. This further fuelled her passion as one missed opportunity can result in new pathways presenting themselves allowing growth as artists and as people. With an upcoming album on the way Jess continues to inspire as a singer, songwriter and performer who is driven by her love for music and the communities created as a result of sharing her stories in a way that is original and true to herself.
